We strongly promote the concept of ECO-TOURISM. Having lived in Alaska for 40 years, we have a deep and abiding respect for this Great Land and all the creatures that dwell on it and below its waters.
A sailboat is naturally eco-friendly; the wind is our clean propulsion and we try to use our engine as little as possible. When running, our engine only burns a pint of fuel an hour.
Our leisurely pace allows ample opportunities for sightseeing, photography, and bird or whale watching. Going ashore in the dingy opens up another world of hiking, camping and beachcombing in Chugach National Forest, the
northernmost temperate rain forest.
